Client: Jacks

For two years, I have managed the creative campaigns for the Jacks brand. This included both upcoming events and the daily posters needed throughout the season.

The challenge

  • Developing multiple poster designs that clearly communicated the agreed promotion while maintaining brand consistency over a two-year period.

  • Adapting each design to reflect the Jacks brand personality in a fresh and engaging way, avoiding repetition across iterations.

  • Balancing creative variation with clarity of messaging to ensure the promotion remained instantly recognisable and effective across all touchpoints.

  • Develop bilingual designs that effectively accommodated both English and French copy, carefully adapting layouts to account for longer French text while preserving clarity, balance, and visual impact.

The solutions

The challenge

  • Design a series of table information cards that clearly communicate the venue's transition from lunch to an après dance floor, ensuring guests are informed.

  • Create reservation table cards that clearly inform guests of upcoming dinner bookings, balancing clear communication with a fun on-brand design.

The solution

  • I approached these designs with the customer experience in mind, recognising that guests enjoying après can become possessive of their space. Rather than creating instructional or authoritative signage, I developed a series of playful illustrations and light-hearted messaging that reflected the fun personality of Jacks.

  • By using humour and character-led visuals, the cards encouraged customers to embrace the transition from dining to dancing and vice versa, helping staff communicate the venue change in a friendly and engaging way while reducing potential frustration.
